About Jim Copes

Jim brings a unique blend of diligence, trustworthiness, and integrity together with his passion for real estate in Copes Realty Group (Residential/Commercial). Born in Wilmington, and raised in Middletown, Delaware, he has witnessed tremendous change in the local real estate market over the last 20 years. After graduating in 1996 from The Williamson College of Trades with a degree in Structural Coatings, he applied his skills in marketing, sales, estimating, business, project and construction management within the residential and commercial real estate industries. This, combined with his recent real estate community project, Chestnut Point Estates & Marina (a 55+ Water Community), Jim is able to provide valuable insight in minor and major subdivision planning and developing. Following his entrepreneurial spirit, Jim co-founded with his wife 2 fitness companies (Tone & Condition, Inc. & Smartex Fitness, The Online Equipment Company) and an advertising company (AHDTV Network). Through his work-life experiences, Jim has developed a large social network and a keen understanding of sales and marketing. Jim balances his dedication to work by relaxing with his wife and daughters, exercising, and maintaining a strong sense of faith.
