New Castle County, DE

New Castle County  has experienced a 23% year-over-year increase in the number of sold homes and a 10% decrease in the median price of sold homes, from $199,900 to $180,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the first seven months of 2012 increased 25% from this time last year.

Kent County, DE

For the first seven months of 2012, Kent County experienced a 24% year-over-year increase in the number of sold homes and an decrease in the median sales price of 2%; from $171,000 to $167,000. The number of homes that went under contract during the first seven months of 2012 increased 27% from this time last year.

Southern Chester County, PA

Southern Chester County has experienced a 31% year-over-year increase in the number of sold homes and an increase in the median sales price of 3%; from $310,000 to $319,750. The number of homes that went under contract during the first seven months of 2012 increased 34% from this time last year.

Cecil County, MD

For the first seven months of 2012, Cecil County experienced an 8% year-over-year decrease in the number of sold homes and a decrease in the median sales price of 1%; from $198,000 to $196,300. The number of homes that went under contract during the first seven months of 2012 increased 2.6% from this time last year.
