New Castle County, DE

New Castle County  experienced a 21.9% decrease in the number of sold homes for the first month of 2019 compared to 2018 and a 3.7% increase in the median sales price from $215,000 to $222,950. The number of homes that went under contract in 2019 increased 5.4% from 2018.

Kent County, DE

For the 1st month of 2019, Kent County experienced a 42.3% decrease in the number of sold homes compared to 2018 and a 15.6% increase in the median sales price from $184,250 to $213,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the first month of  2019 decreased 27.6% from 2018.

Sussex County, DE

For the first month of 2019, Sussex County experienced a 26.3% decrease in the number of sold homes compared to 2018 and a 5.0% increase in the median sales price from $273,750 to $287,500. The number of homes that went under contract in the 1st month of 2019 decreased 2.2% from 2018.

Southern Chester County, PA

Southern Chester County  experienced an 28.4% increase in the number of sold homes in the 1st month of 2019 compared to 2018 and a 5.4% increase in the median price of sold homes, from $370,000 to $390,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the first month of 2019 decreased 27.1% from 2018.

Cecil County, MD

For the first month of 2019, Cecil County experienced a 16.9% decrease in the number of sold homes compared to 2018 and an increase in the median sales price of 8.3%; from $205,000 to $222,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the 1st month of 2019 increased 1.4% from 2018.
